About The Game
Bubble Trouble is a single/multi-player game designed by Kresimir Cvitanovic in which you take control of a bubble-hunting imp. Armed with your trusty harpoon gun, your objective is to destroy all the bubbles before time runs out—but be careful: popping a bubble will cause it to split into more, smaller bubbles!

Controls
The controls are very easy, consisting of three actions: moving left, moving right, and firing your harpoon. Here are the default keyboard controls for each player.

Player One
Move left – left arrow
Move right – right arrow
Fire harpoon – spacebar

Player Two
Move left – x
Move right – c
Fire harpoon – w
These controls can also be changed by selecting ‘Controls’ from the main menu. From there you can reassign each action to a new key of your choice.

Tips and Tricks

Be Patient
Bubble Trouble requires precise timing to land a good harpoon shot so if you aren’t sure if you can make it, don’t take the chance. Instead, reposition yourself until you’re certain that you can pop a bubble rather than rushing to your death. Of course, keep an eye on the red time bar at the bottom of the screen. If it runs out before you’ve popped all the bubbles in a given level, you will lose the game.

Keep Moving
Compared to the bubbles, your character moves relatively fast. Use this to your advantage by tracking bubbles down. Don’t wait for them to come to you. Use your speed to position yourself right underneath a bubble before firing your harpoon. This can be tricky, especially with smaller bubbles, but you will have to get used to it if you want to beat the game.

Corners Are Your Friends
Corners are a good place to take care of business in Bubble Trouble. If you position yourself just right you can destroy several bubbles before having to move again. This is because, when a bubble pops and splits into two, one bubble will bounce off of the wall and come right back into your firing path. Just be aware of other bubbles coming from the other side of the screen so that you don’t become trapped.

Grab Those Power-Ups
Make sure you keep an eye out for power-ups that drop from popped bubbles. They can be really helpful, particularly at higher levels, for helping you pop bubbles or just stay alive. More than anything, you will want to be sure to grab any extra lives as they can really be the difference between achieving victory and losing the game.
