Bloons Tower Defense 5 Game
Bloons Tower Defense 5, a part of the popular TD game offered by Ninjakiwi, was released December 2011. It has better graphics than its predecessors with more upgrades, towers, and tracks to complete. The concept of the game is pretty straightforward: build towers to attack and bring down enemy Bloons. Some towers do not attack, but they do give tons of help to successfully defend the Monkey Village.
 
Players who are familiar with the series will grasp the game quickly. There is a tutorial, but the interface is quite simple. On the right side of the screen, there are the towers to choose from. At first, they are locked with a “?” sign. Unlock them by using them continuously and playing the game often for more XP. At the bottom of the screen, there are special agents which can be purchased using Monkey Money. This in-game money is earned by completing tracks or by purchasing with real money. To play, simple choose the tower, drag it, and release on the track. Click the Go button and play. Aside from the regular games, there are Special and Random Missions.
 
Bloons Tower Defense 5 requires players to come up with strategies in placing the towers. In the first few rounds, there is not enough cash. One tip here is to just mass build cheap towers such as the Dart Monkey. If there is enough cash, choose the Boomerang Thrower (upgrade 0/3) to pop lead and ice Bloons. Balanced playing can be done through building the Bomb (3/0) and a black Bloon popping tower that uses dart. Ice Tower can slow down Bloons, but later, it can pop them too. Same thing goes with the Glue Gunner. Place Road Spikes at the end of the track to keep Bloons from escaping.
